Flies: Early season weighted nymphs or spiders, Mid-season Mayflies or other appropriate dry flies, Late season sedge flies and also weighted nymphs.
One of the best places to fish on this beat is the weir pool at the top of the beat. There are usually plenty of grayling waiting to be caught. It can be a pleasant few hours fishing.
